As a data subject you have the right to obtain from us free information about your personal data processed at any time and a copy of this information. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you shall have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.
You have the right to obtain from us the erasure of personal data concerning you as soon as possible, and we shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay where required by the law, including when:
You have the right to obtain from BrightID restriction of processing where one of the following applies:
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time, to the processing of personal data concerning you. We shall no longer process the personal data in the event of the objection, unless we can demonstrate reasonable grounds for the processing, which override the interests, rights and freedoms of you, or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time.
We are entitled to transfer your personal data to third parties abroad for the purposes of data processing.

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law’s reach stretches well beyond California to require a person or company in the United States (and conceivably the world) that operates websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals with whom it is being shared, and to comply with this Privacy Policy. See more at: http://consumercal.org/california-online-privacy-protection-act-caloppa/#sthash.0FdRbT51.dpuf
According to CalOPPA, BrightID agrees to the following:
Users are able to change their personal information:
This site and the Services are not targeted towards children, and BrightID does not knowingly collect PII from children under the age of thirteen (13). If you become aware that a child has provided BrightID or its affiliates with PII, please contact BrightID as set forth in this Privacy Policy. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a minor child, BrightID will treat any information that you provide BrightID while using the Services on behalf of your minor child as PII as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy.
If you have questions concerning BrightID information practices with respect to children, or if you learn that a child under the age of thirteen (13) has used the Services or provided BrightID with personal information, please email BrightID at info@brightid.org.
All claims or causes of action (whether in contract or in tort, in law or in equity) that may be based upon, arise out of or relate to this Privacy Policy, or the negotiation, execution or performance of this Privacy Policy (including any representation or warranty made in or in connection with this Privacy Policy or as an inducement to enter into this Privacy Policy), may be made only against the entities that are expressly identified as parties hereto. No person who is not a named party to this Privacy Policy, including, without limitation, any past, present or future director, officer, employee, incorporator, member, partner, equity-holder, affiliate, agent, attorney or representative of any named party to this Privacy Policy, shall have any liability (whether in contract or in tort, in law or in equity, or based upon any theory that seeks to impose liability of an entity party against its owners or affiliates) for any obligations or liabilities arising under, in connection with or related to this Privacy Policy or for any claim based on, in respect of, or by reason of this Privacy Policy or its negotiation or execution; and each party hereto waives and releases all such liabilities, claims and obligations against any such person who is not a named party to this Privacy Policy.
We occasionally review this Privacy Policy to make sure it complies with applicable laws and conforms to changes in the Services. We may need to update this Privacy Policy, and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If we make a change to this Privacy Policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will provide you with additional notice. By continuing to use the Services after Privacy Policy changes go into effect, you agree to be bound by the revised policy. We strongly encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access or use the Services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and your privacy rights and choices.
